Dirty Mud Bath

As you could see in my “Jungle Dip: Bianca’s Expedition” video, I spent 6 weeks in Thailand where I had the chance to swim at this breathtaking lagoon that was hiding deep in the Thailand jungle. So deep that I first had to climb up a steep hill by holding a roughed out rope, then climb down three rocky cliffs where I could have easily broke my neck. But Lonely Planet did promise me that it was all worth the effort so I breaded my hair Bianca Croft style, put on my jeans short, paired it up with my green tank top and got ready to get all messy while doing that journey.
I experimented doubts and fears while climbing up and down the cliffs. What if I was not in shape enough to get to the lagoon? But every time I reminded myself all the satisfaction I would feel when reaching my goal, and that was a reward I wanted to earn. I sure kept going and at some point, I reached the lagoon! I did not expect however to find it… completely dried out! What was supposed to be a lagoon was now in fact a giant mud bath! I thought first how disappointing and frustrating this was, being that I had planned a sexy photo-shoot FOR that specific lagoon. But then, because I had read that the lagoon reacts to the tide, I decided to wait and see if it would fill up during the day. And it did!
I planted a stick in the water, with a mark on it, so I could monitor the speed at which the water was rising. It was verrrrrrrrry slowly! So slow in fact that while I was waiting there to do my “Jungle Dip” photo shoot, I continued filming my selfie video, you know, to pass time and have some fun while being there.
