When I decided in 2015 to travel to Asia for the very first time of my life and meanwhile leave home for a total of 6 weeks, I just knew I had to travel light. Let’s put it this way: this kind of travel is not as fancy and comfortable as taking a 10 days vacation at a resort! However, the experience is so much richer in terms of cultural discoveries. That being said, if I truly wanted to discover what Thailand had to offer to me, the only possible way to do just that was to actually move from one location to another. And to do that by plane, train, bus and even scooter, it was primordial that I travel as light as possible.
