Don’t you just love October?? Well, I do have 3 reasons why I love it so much. First, I’m blown away by all the colors in the trees. Fall is a beautiful season to hike and take some fresh air in the country. Now that I have got my cute Chihuahua Nikita, I have the perfect excuse to take a walk on our beautiful Mount Royal (right in the middle of the city) and think about all the next photo shoots I would like to do, hey hey!

The second reason why I love October is because it’s my birthday on the 14th; and this year, I’m gonna turn 30. Certainly, this is gonna be a nice opportunity to dress up, meet friends, and party 🙂 ! And last reason but the most important to me why I love so much October, it’s because of Halloween. Seriously, I prefer Halloween over my own Birthday. I just love seeing the houses surrounded by little demons and monsters, hungry for candies and treats! I then remember my own childhood and how my father and I used to go hunting all evening for chocolate bars and lollipops.

I remember how much I loved dressing up, most of the time in a villain costume, and wait for my mom to do my make-up. I always wanted it to be sexy and glam. When I look back, I realize that, years after years, Halloween nourished my fetish for the uniforms and my desire to play as many characters as possible. I even think it might be the original source of why I love to dress up and play characters!

Well now that you know this, I am sure you’ll understand that it was simply impossible for me to not show a photo shoot in which I play a famous character. In this case, a Super Hero. Since I dyed my hair blond, it was the perfect time for Martin and I to shoot the Super Girl. From the forum, we know people are interested into Super Hero photo shoots in latex costumes. Well, there you go. And of course, this photo shoot wouldn’t have been possible without the time and devotion of Polymorphe, who created the costume and modified the stiletto boots I’m wearing.

Catherine Lavoie was also involved in the shoot to do my make-up and give me that cute Barbie look. And of course, hair was done by The Richard himself. { read more… }
